Experience the life of a castle and discover a rich heritage

Heritage lovers, prepare to be dazzled. Château de la Forêt invites you to immerse yourself in local history with its majestic architecture and the possibility of organising cultural events there. At Château de Clermont, you can follow in the footsteps of its former owner, Louis de Funès, and events can also be held there. Le Cellier's heritage is not confined to châteaux, but also includes the church of Saint Martin (with its listed frescoes), the chapel of St Méen, manor houses, historic residences, mills, calvaries and other elements of built and industrial heritage (such as APLIX, although not open to visitors).

Efforts to improve our welcome

The commune is constantly thinking about ways to improve the welcome it offers to visitors and residents alike. Ideas are being discussed to improve signposting, particularly on the RD723 and the towpath, develop new route maps (topo-guide type), create cycle and pedestrian paths, and improve safety in the town centre, where it is suggested that the speed limit be set at 30 km/h.
