Back from the market in Ancenis!
Markets are an essential part of holidays, but also of everyday life in the towns and villages of the Pays d'Ancenis. It's also a way of promoting local trade and keeping our farmers and producers alive.
It's market day!
If you visit our markets on an empty stomach, you'll be tempted to let the tasty aromas of our local cheeses, spit-roasted chickens and Loire fish, as well as the cakes and pastries on Thursday mornings in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon, tantalise your nostrils. Your stomachs will be screaming with hunger at this explosion of colours and flavours, typical of the best that the land and waters of our region have to offer! All you have to do is give in to temptation!
