The Pays d'Ancenis wine route
Aaaah, what would the Ancenis region be without its wines and vineyards? Since the 16th century, the town of Ancenis has been renowned as the major wine market town on the banks of the Loire. Today, our 291 hectares of vineyards on both banks of the Loire give colour to our landscapes and are the pride of our region. The golden colour of Malvoisie, the garnet-red of Gamay, as well as the AOC Côteaux d'Ancenis, Muscadet and Cru Champtoceaux, our local appellations are produced by passionate winegrowers who will enthral you!
