By train

The Ancenis–Saint-Géréon station, well served by regional TER lines, offers quick and convenient connections to many nearby towns as well as more distant destinations.

Whether you’re heading out for a ride or commuting to work, take your bike or scooter on board and set off to explore the trails and landscapes of the Pays d’Ancenis — so easy and practical!

  • From Nantes, our TER trains offer two routes, of 17 (direct) and 35 minutes (with stops). If you choose the 35-minute route, you'll have the chance to admire the magnificent scenery along the Loire, including the Château d'Oudon, with stops in 2 towns in the Ancenis area, Le Cellier and Oudon (as well as Mauve-sur-Loire and Thouaré-sur-Loire).
  • If you're travelling from Angers, a journey of around 23 minutes (direct) to 36 minutes (with stops) by TER will take you directly to one of our towns served by the Aléop regional transport network by TER, such as Ancenis-Saint-Géréon, Varades-Saint-Florent-le-Vieil (Loireauxence), Ingrandes-Le-Fresne-sur-Loire, etc.
  • For those travelling from Paris, Ancenis-Saint-Géréon can be reached in around 3 hours, with a connection in Nantes or Angers, giving you easy access to our multifaceted region.

We are easily accessible by major roads:

  • From Nantes, it will only take you around 35 minutes to get to us via the A11 motorway, which offers fast, direct access to Ancenis-Saint-Géréon.
  • From Angers, the journey is just as easy, taking around 40 minutes on the A11.
  • From Paris, allow around 3 hours to reach us by taking the A10 towards Bordeaux, then the A11 towards Nantes.

By air

The nearest airport is Nantes Atlantique, 54 km (45 minutes by car) from Ancenis Saint-Géréon, or Rennes - Saint-Jacques, 160 km (1 hour 30 minutes) from Ancenis Saint-Géréon.
