Farming – Sale of fruit and vegetables
SCEA La Maison Blanche, located in Le Cellier between Nantes and Ancenis, came into being in 2021.
This was a major turning point for our farm, with the conversion to organic farming and the takeover of a second site in Thouaré Sur Loire, giving us a farm area of 9.5 hectares, including 2.5 hectares under cover, to produce a diverse range of seasonal vegetables all year round. Our production has been certified organic since 2023. That same year, we developed our drive-through and began offering fresh vegetables from our own production. We orientate our practices towards the greatest respect for mankind and nature, and we favour the use of compost and reduced tillage to encourage bacteria and fungi. A living soil rich in organic matter is the key to success for healthy, tasty vegetables.
