Les vergers du bois Macé offers seasonal farm produce (open-field vegetables, fruit picked when ripe) and bread made directly in our bakery, guaranteeing the traceability and quality of our products. The farm has adopted environmentally-friendly farming practices and has been awarded the organic farming label in 2019.
Several local producers work together to offer you their products in the on-site delicatessen: jam, fruit, vegetables, as well as smoked salmon, meat, charcuterie, dairy products, cheeses, spices, etc.
The Bois-Macé farm, located on 158 hectares in the commune of Le Cellier in the Loire-Atlantique region (44), is a family-run business offering a wooded setting for picking fruit and vegetables in complete simplicity.
The farm’s history was enriched in 1991 with the launch of direct sales. At the same time, the cattle farm was transformed into a free-range poultry farm, in line with cereal production.
In 2003, a bakery was installed on site to showcase the farm’s expertise in milling wheat by making bread. All year round, the farm opens its doors for visitors to discover its authenticity, its daily life and its evolution.
