Plan d’eau du Chêne – Oudon

OUDON

Pets allowed:

Chiens tenus en laisse, faire attention à la propreté

/!\ Following further tests carried out on the afternoon of Saturday 25 July 2026, swimming and water sports are once again strictly prohibited in the Chêne lake until further notice, due to a significant build-up of toxin-producing cyanobacteria.

The Oudon lake is ideal for swimming, walking or fishing. This small lake offers lovely walking trails and a friendly place to swim. Set in peaceful surroundings, there are shaded picnic tables and play areas for children. You’ll find all the facilities you need to share a pleasant moment with your family or friends (sanitary facilities, secure area, benches for resting, supervised swimming area, petanque area, etc.).
Perfect for a group outing, a 1.5km footpath runs alongside the lake in a green and relaxing setting. The whole family will be able to get together here, making for some great memories.

The lake is open all year round. However, lifeguards supervise the bathing area from 1 July to 31 August each year (Tuesday to Sunday inclusive, 2pm to 7pm). Outside this period, swimming is prohibited. In all cases, young children are the responsibility of their parents.

The Oudon lake is accessible to anglers: there is a good population of pike, pike-perch, perch, carp, rotengles, etc. Disabled access and parking allow easy access to the pontoon specially designed for them. Fishing cards can be purchased from the Ablette Oudonnaise at the Carrefour Express in Oudon (150 rue de la Loire) or from the Oudon Tourist Office (11 rue du Pont-Levis).

Practical information:
– The bathing area is supervised from 1 July to 31 August each year (Tuesday to Sunday inclusive, 2pm to 7pm).
– Dogs on a lead are permitted throughout the site.
– The chemin du Rio car park offers plenty of parking, including a shaded area. For cyclists, there is a bike park at the entrance to the lake, so you can enjoy a well-earned break in peace and quiet.

In Oudon, at the roundabout opposite the church, head towards the bridge, then immediately left onto rue de la Loire. Coolness awaits you at the end of the street.
