Come and see the play *Blanches* on Saturday 12 December in Couffé.

“‘Yeah’,” a dreamy, laid-back little girl, spends most of her time with her Mémé Blanche, her eccentric grandmother. Together, they play badminton with an invisible shuttlecock, dance at the local dance hall, and tell each other stories about the great women of history…
And then, Pépé Lulu died three months ago. Mémé Blanche needs company and she’s really starting to go off the rails! Ouais doesn’t understand. His parents say that Mémé Blanche has something in her head, that ‘thing with a weird name’. Mémé Blanche, for her part, insists that it was Léon Zitrone who stole it from her.”

A play by Fabrice Melquiot, both funny and moving, which uses simple, tender words to describe the impact that Alzheimer’s disease can have, both on the person living with the condition and on those around them.
