This film explores the rear of the front line, where the war is less visible but ever-present, and where, despite the destruction, a people stubbornly carry on living, resisting and hoping.
In Ukraine, the war is a constant presence in every moment of daily life. Yet, amidst air raid alerts, power cuts and devastated cities, life goes on. Children play, young people train for sporting events, and helping hands work tirelessly for the war effort. People are feeding, protecting and supporting one another. In the face of death, injury and trauma, resilience becomes a necessity.
