The Festival des Solidarités, Festisol, is an international event to promote and celebrate solidarity that is open to the world and to others. Every year in November, a varied programme of events takes place from 3 to 30 November.
The waters of West Africa have long been among the richest on the planet. But since the 1970s, fishing fleets from Europe, Russia and Asia have been scouring this part of the ocean, often illegally. This competition from foreign trawlers is terrible for local artisanal fishermen. Screening followed by a debate with a speaker who went on an immersion trip to Senegal with CCFD Terre Solidaire.
