Concert Quator Musicandis

Come along to the Quator Musicandis concert on Saturday 20 March in Couffé.

Comprising four women who are passionate about music and amateur musicians, the Musicandis string quartet was formed when they met whilst playing in the Orchestrale symphony orchestra, which has already performed twice in Couffé. Driven by the joy of playing together and sharing their music, they present a programme showcasing two major works from the repertoire:

Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in A minor, Op. 13, an early work marked by the influence of Beethoven’s late quartets, unfolds a rich palette of emotions, ranging from dramatic intensity to lyrical flourishes.

In contrast, Johann Sebastian Bach’s famous Concerto for Two Violins in D minor is presented here in an arrangement for string quartet, offering a fresh interpretation of this iconic piece.
