On the weekend of 19 and 20 September, come and (re)discover the heritage of the Pays d’Ancenis as part of the European Heritage Days (JEP)!
This family-run wine estate, situated on the heights of Le Cellier, has been in existence since 1635. Brigitte, Pierre-Yves and Anne Athimon produce Loire wines that allow the terroir to express itself. It must be said that on this ancient rock, nothing could grow except vines!
And this utterly natural site, offering a spectacular panorama of the Loire, could only produce a dream vineyard. It began its conversion to organic farming in 2020. The rock imparts minerality to the wine, the Loire a freshness that intensifies the fruit, and the wind sweeping across the rock eradicates fungi and other diseases. Suffice to say that all the ingredients are in place for these wines to be recognised.
A wine tasting will be offered in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
