What if, for once, we said it was fine weather when it was raining? At the foot of a ‘rain tree’ made of bamboo, an installation crafted from a variety of materials awaits us. The music of the rain – by turns lulling and lively – can be heard…
Young and old alike are invited to touch and interact with the installation, creating a shower of sound with random rhythms, to which the ‘rain man’ will respond with an echo.
Through this sensory and collective experience created by Benoît Sicat, “Pluie?” invites us to rethink, in a tender and poetic way, our relationship with that which is the source of life: rainwater.
