The Rive de Loire gallery is hosting two artists.

Isabelle KERHARDY DANILO, who, through her paintings, offers us a personal and vibrant interpretation of colour and space. Having chosen to move away from figurative art, Isabelle KERHARDY DANILO paints forms on large and medium-sized canvases, through which she presents a timeless vision of objects, spaces and collected memories. Her ‘still lives’ offer a fresh way of approaching the still-life genre.

Monique MARJOLET-FURIC, whose works are figurative and centred on the human experience. They straddle the line between reality and the imagination. The mind observes, wanders and imbues her ‘characters’ with a story, a fleeting experience that each visitor is free to interpret as they wish.
Her pieces are crafted from stoneware and then fired by a potter. For 30 hours straight at 1,200°C, the heat of the wood fire imparts such distinctive shades and colours.

The exhibition ‘2 Women, 2 Perspectives’ is open to the public, with the artists in attendance, from Wednesday to Friday, 2 pm to 6 pm, and at weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Opening reception on Sunday 29 November at 11.30 am.
