‘Masks and You’ is a project led by members of the GEM Le Pacifique. It comprises a series of papier-mâché masks, which have come to life through various forms of expression: on stage, in a series of photographs, and also through writing.
As the texts unfold, the audience discovers the identities of these unique characters. Each of them tells a story and explores profound themes such as identity, isolation and mental health issues.”
