Exposition Riaillé, d’hier et d’aujourd’hui

Passing on history is one of the UNC’s missions. For this reason, on 17 and 18 October, UNC Riaillé Mémoire will be presenting, alongside the exhibition ‘Riaillé: Past and Present’, an exhibition entitled ‘Committed to France’s Freedom 1940–1945’.

This exhibition has been made available to us by the Châteaubriant Museum of the Resistance. It traces the history of the Resistance from the first rumblings of the German occupation in 1940 right through to the liberation of the Saint-Nazaire pocket in 1945. It offers an opportunity to reflect on the 50 hostages, the Saffré maquis and the clandestine activities of the Amicale Laïque de Châteaubriant.
