Gospel Rhapsody : un Noël aux rythmes du gospel

OUDON

Concert and show

What if we celebrated Christmas to the rhythm of gospel music? On Sunday 6 December at 4.00 pm, Saint-Martin’s Church in Oudon will open its doors to Gospel Rhapsody, a choir from Orval that promises a concert full of passion, beautiful voices and rhythm.

Founded by passionate choristers, this group was voted the second-best choir in France in 2024 on the programme ‘La Meilleure Chorale de France’, broadcast on France 3.

Under the direction of Ritz A’Solo, a singer, arranger and professional choir director, accompanied on the piano by Alban-Charles Cadran, Gospel Rhapsody explores the full richness of gospel and Negro spirituals. From the early hymns of African-American churches to the sounds of modern gospel, including a cappella passages, the group blends influences and eras to offer an intense and engaging musical experience.

A concert where you can let yourself be swept away by the power of the voices and share a festive musical moment as the festive season approaches.
