To mark European Heritage Days, the Racines & Patrimoine association in Ligné is organising an exhibition and a programme of activities centred on Ligné’s washhouses and wells.
From 10.00 to 18.00: demonstrations of the tools used by washerwomen and ironers. Ironing of traditional headdresses and a presentation of the washhouses and wells.
From 2 pm to 5 pm: the play “Au Lavoir”, a clothes-hanging competition for adults and children, wheelbarrow races and sheet-wringing.
Bar and crêpe stall on site.
