La Semaine Bleue, the national week for older people and pensioners, will take place in Couffé from 5 to 11 October
The local council, through its Solidarity Committee, is once again taking part in the ‘Semaine Bleue’ – the National Week for Pensioners and Older People – from 5 to 11 October.
Throughout the week, La Forge aux Livres library is offering a selection of books on intergenerational relationships, which can be explored during the library’s opening hours.
Here are some of the events scheduled for the week, all of which are free (except for lunch at the school canteen):
On Tuesday 6 October and Friday 9 October, you are invited to come and play games with the pensioners’ club.
On Wednesday 7 October, come and discover Nia dance with Carole Bouchereau from Le Couffé. She invites you to free your body and mind. This activity is limited to six people. After the dance, senior citizens can meet at the school canteen for the bimonthly lunch (a charge applies). Registration is required for both these events (via Couffé Info).
On Saturday 10 October, you are all invited to the floral art workshop with Copines et déco.
