A stage adaptation of the book Rouge Pute, the result of an exchange between a poet and nine female victims of violence. Between tension and sensitivity, the voices, set to music, impose their strength, their struggle and their reconstruction.

An essential book that breaks the law of silence, now translated in Japan and Chile and the subject of numerous stage adaptations, it will be released in paperback in March 2024. It has given its name to the ‘Les Rouges Putes’ collective, which uses poems from the collection in militant public performances. Metamorphosed by a poetic language and a musical composition full of tension and sensitivity, the women’s voices impose their strength, their struggle and their reconstruction. Ronan Courty’s double bass develops its own language and forms a chorus with Perrine Le Querrec’s words. The result is a truly poetic and musical act, an act of resistance and struggle. Whenever possible, the duet joins forces with a professional or amateur choir of eight women: hidden in the audience, the women join the stage, adding their presence and their light.
