To mark the anniversary of Turner’s voyage down the Loire, Erwan Martinerie and Emmanuel Lambert are putting on a show in the courtyard of the château.
Like Turner, Aaron, himself a painter, travelled miles to immerse himself in and understand the Loire. He set out to use his paintbrush to defend and save the Loire, which is suffering from drought and pollution, amid (almost) general indifference.
In the event of rain, the show will be postponed.
