Montrelais en couleurs

The parents’ association of the Joachim du Bellay school in Montrelais is organising the “MONTRELAIS EN COULEURS” running race on Saturday 12 September 2026, with the support of the commune of Montrelais.

It’s the fun, colourful back-to-school race, so join us for a run and a good time, in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

> EACH RUNNER IS INVITED TO COME WEARING A WHITE T-SHIRT. GOGGLES PROVIDED.

THIS EVENT OFFERS 3 DIFFERENT ROUTES:

– 1 ADULT RACE: on a 6.5 km marked course along the banks of the Loire and through the town centre. Start at 6.00 pm. (200 places)

– 2 CHILDREN’S RACES: for 3 to 6 year-olds, a distance of 400 metres, and for 7 to 12 year-olds, a distance of 1 km. Departures from 5.00 p.m. Parental authorisation required on registration. (100 places)

There will be no timed classification during the event.

PRACTICAL DETAILS – RACES :

Location of the village and meeting point: The village will be located at the Place des Services, in the new third-location building in the commune, on rue de l’Espérance near the “Joachim du Bellay” school and the railway line, in Montrelais (44 370). Parking will be available nearby.

Collection of race numbers: Race numbers can be collected on site on the day of the event, in the village, from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available for runners (adults and children) at the finish.

Food and drink: Food and drink available in the village for runners and the general public.

Pre-race and race entertainment in the village, supervised by an entertainer.
