Run for Lily Cerise

MESANGER

Sporting event

This is already the fifth ‘Run for Lily Cerise’ charity run for our charity, which works to combat domestic and family violence.

The idea is as follows:
I register for the 5 or 10 km walk or run on the TimePulse website, on the helloAsso page, or in person at a starting point where this is possible (see below), and then I’m free to walk or run wherever I like, over the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 November 2026. I can take part on my own, with family, friends or colleagues…

But what’s the difference between each registration method?

On TimePulse, a recognised sports timing company, registering via their platform will allow you to obtain your race number, time your run yourself using your usual running app, and feature in the final rankings for each race.
Via helloAsso or on the day, your registration will solely serve to support the charity; you will not be able to feature in the final rankings (but you can still send us a photo of your achievement!).

Fee:
The registration fee is €6, regardless of how you register.

When you register via TimePulse:

€5.01 is paid to Lily Cerise to support and help fund the charity’s prevention initiatives aimed at a wide audience.
The remaining 99 cts are bank transaction fees (TimePulse does not take any commission).
When you register via helloAsso or in person, the full registration fee is donated to Lily Cerise.

What will this money be used for?
To print our promotional materials (business cards, posters with emergency numbers, bookmarks, reusable cups). All these items are distributed free of charge to the public (charities, individuals, businesses).
To run our stands at public events and to purchase equipment (marquees, books, games, etc.).
To organise awareness-raising sessions for children, teenagers/young adults and adults (the general public and professionals).
By covering the mileage expenses incurred by volunteers.
Why take action?
Because in France:

1 in 6 women is a victim of domestic violence, and on average, one woman dies every 3 days at the hands of her partner.
One man dies every 30 days, killed by his partner.
One child dies every 5 days as a result of abuse or neglect by their parents.
In France, a child is a victim of sexual abuse every 3 minutes.
81 per cent of sexual abuse begins before the age of 18, 51 per cent before the age of 11 and 21 per cent before the age of 6.
8 out of 10 victims say they did not receive support from those around them when they spoke out about the abuse.
90 per cent of women with an autism spectrum disorder experience or have experienced sexual abuse.
Children and young people with disabilities are three to four times more likely to be victims of physical and sexual abuse and neglect than other children, and they face a significantly higher risk of experiencing sexual abuse.
The good news is that EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US CAN TAKE ACTION, for example by taking part in our Run for Lily Cerise race, sharing our posts on social media, or joining our team of volunteers!
