From 26 June to 6 July, the Château d’Oudon, a jewel of our cultural heritage, will be transformed into a living stage to host the Théâtre au Château project, run by the T-âtre association in partnership with O’Cap.
Three shows, three worlds, three events celebrating the youth, talent and artistic wealth of our region. Dom Juan, Molière’s great baroque classic, opens the ball. The play, presented by T-âtre under the direction of Catherine Guinel, combines humour, seduction and reflection, in a setting where each scene interacts with the château and its stones steeped in history.
Next, students from the Pays d’Ancenis drama school take to the stage with Antigone, an adaptation of a myth combining tragedy and modernity. Finally, Littoral by Wajdi Mouawad, directed by Anne Rauturier and performed by students from the Conservatoire de Nantes, brings this triptych to a close with a powerful piece of contemporary writing that explores memory, identity and transmission.
