Come and discover the Ferme de l’Audace, and discuss the management and running of a farm within a Natura 2000 site.

“The climate is changing – what about us?” That is the question we asked ourselves following the severe heatwaves of recent years and the effects of climate change, which are becoming increasingly evident in our region. It is time to take action together. Against this backdrop, the Pays d’Ancenis Development Council, in partnership with the Loire-Atlantique department and COMPA, is organising visits and workshops in the Pays d’Ancenis to raise awareness of current climate issues.

On the programme:

A tour and discussion session on the management and running of a farm on the banks of the Loire, within a Natura 2000 site.
Examples of how agricultural and nature conservation practices can be adapted (biodiversity, wetlands, flood risks, pollarded trees, hedgerows, natural grasslands).
A collective farm run by five farmers with a local farmers’ market.
In partnership with the LPO and Thomas Rabu, a breeder of Solognote sheep.
