During the weekend of 15 August, step through the gates of Oudon castle and let yourself be guided, surrounded by stones over 600 years old.
On 15, 16 and 17 August, experience history in a different way with 4 guided tours a day.
At 11 a.m., 2.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., a guide in words and flesh will tell you all about its history and show you its architecture, which is both typical of the Middle Ages and original in the octagonal shape of its tower.
After the tour, wander freely around the keep: costumes, games and hands-on activities, the interactive Secrets of the Middle Ages trail, the Art of Medieval Construction exhibition…
And don’t miss the chance to climb to the top of the keep, with its breathtaking views over the Loire and the village of Oudon.
It’s a historical and fun interlude for all the family, combining heritage immersion with the pleasure of discovery.
