L’amour de Loire

Chantal & Jean Michel will be delighted to welcome you to their house of character situated directly on the banks of the Loire, with panoramic views from every room.

Halfway between Angers and Ancenis, make a memorable stopover at this bed and breakfast on the banks of the Loire and enjoy the breathtaking view over the river throughout your stay. You’ll never tire of this vantage point from which to admire passing boats, canoes and bicycles… as well as the many species of birds that live in their natural habitat.

The guest house has two rooms:
– L’Ikebana with a 160cm bed, for one or two people
– La Gabarre, a family room separated into two areas with a 140cm bed and a 90cm bed, for one to three people. A pull-out bed under the single bed (trundle bed) can accommodate an extra person (for a child rather than an adult).

Each room has its own en suite bathroom, television, WiFi internet connection and kettle with tea and coffee bags. The light-filled rooms have uninterrupted views over the Loire, with access from your room to the balcony and terrace reserved for guests.

An enclosed garage provides storage for bikes, boats, canoes and cars. The garage is accessible from the quay leading to the Loire, which will also delight fishermen. Guests have access to 2 bicycles and a canoe.

The Loire à Vélo cycle route passes along the street, or on the opposite bank, depending on your choice of route. This bed and breakfast is the ideal base for a cycling holiday: secure garage for your bikes and luggage, fridge available, hearty breakfasts…

Breakfast is served in the living room or on the terrace, either way with a view of the Loire. On the menu: fresh, seasonal, home-grown and mostly local produce (list of suppliers available).

In the event of bad weather preventing you from taking advantage of the terrace, a conservatory completely enclosed by glass will be a very pleasant option for spending quality time, always with a view of the Loire.

The village of Ingrandes, in addition to its major asset of being on the banks of the Loire, has a number of places popular with tourists: a crêperie just 40 metres from the guest house, bars and restaurants, walks, entertainment in season, a beach on the other side of the Loire in summer and a bistro guinguette with entertainment just 10 minutes away by bike.
