Treat yourself to a timeless getaway at Quai Roblan, a charming holiday cottage ideal for a romantic break on the banks of the Loire, situated in Ingrandes-Le Fresne-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll feel instantly transported: as soon as you arrive, you’ll be captivated by the beauty of the view. The real highlight of the place? An exceptional 180° view of the Loire – majestic and soothing – which accompanies every moment of your stay. With its ever-changing light, unspoilt natural surroundings and the gentle charm of the Loire region, everything invites you to slow down and make the most of your time here.

The gîte opens onto a cosy, light-filled living room with a comfortable dining area, perfect for sharing special moments. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze, thanks to its wide range of appliances: oven, microwave, dishwasher, 4-ring ceramic hob, filter coffee machine and espresso machine. Everything has been designed to ensure you have a practical and enjoyable stay, with complete independence.

From the living area, you’ll find a cosy bedroom designed as a real haven for two. It features a 140×190 cm double bed, a desk area and a pleasant sitting area. But it is above all the breathtaking view of the Loire that makes this room unique: an ideal setting for enjoying a coffee upon waking, reading a few pages of a novel or simply gazing out at the river as the hours pass. A bathroom with a shower opening onto the corridor, a separate toilet and a utility area complete the accommodation.

Outside, a true haven of peace awaits you. Two garden furniture sets, a parasol, sun loungers and a barbecue will allow you to make the most of the fine weather. Make yourself comfortable and let the magic take effect: birdsong, the sun’s reflections on the water and the surrounding tranquillity combine to create a rare atmosphere. Whether it’s for breakfast at dawn, an aperitif at sunset or a summer evening under the stars, the Loire will always be your most beautiful backdrop.

For your comfort, Wi-Fi is available in the gîte. Baby equipment can also be provided on request, including a travel cot, a high chair and a baby bath. Utility charges, including heating, electricity and internet access, are included in the rental price. As an extra charge, bed linen is available at €10 per bed, towels at €5 per person and end-of-stay cleaning at €50 per stay. For stays of one week or more, bed linen and towels are included.

Le Quai Roblan also enjoys a prime location for exploring the treasures of Anjou and the banks of the Loire. You can visit Champtoceaux and its superb panoramic view of the Loire, 30 km away, or Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, 12 km away – a charming ‘Petite Cité de Caractère’ – or enjoy the famous ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle route, which is just a stone’s throw away. Wine lovers will appreciate the many vineyards of Anjou, situated between 10 and 25 km from the gîte, offering tastings in the heart of the Loire region’s terroirs.

Just 35 km away, Angers invites you to discover its rich heritage, with its historic centre, its iconic Château d’Angers — also known as the Château des Ducs d’Anjou — and its charming narrow streets. Families and botany enthusiasts alike can also explore Terra Botanica, situated 37 km away. The authentic village of Béhuard, the only island commune in the Loire region, is 26 km away and well worth a visit. Finally, Nantes, 58 km away, promises a wonderful day out exploring its heritage, culture and lifestyle.
