Set off on the Loire à Vélo cycle route from Oudon to Mauves-sur-Loire.
As you set off from Oudon, take the time to explore this charming village, its monumental sculptures, and the castle with its medieval tower.
Follow the towpath to Le Cellier, where you’ll come across the Folies Siffait, a park featuring labyrinthine terraces, balconies and vegetation dating from the 19th century (currently closed to the public), then take in the Château de Clermont, the final resting place of the famous actor Louis de Funès.
Continue your journey to the bridge at Mauves-sur-Loire, then cross it to reach the south bank. You can take a break at the Pierre Percée viewpoint in Divatte-sur-Loire to enjoy a panoramic view and all the practical facilities for cyclists.
Continue towards La Varenne before reaching Champtoceaux, an ancient medieval town offering a magnificent view of the Loire.
Finally, cross the bridge to complete this 20-kilometre journey and return to Oudon.
