Circuit de l’Orée des bois

Take a gentle stroll through the Ancenis forest, accessible to young and old alike, to discover the countryside and forest paths in the commune of Riaillé.

The Orée des bois trail invites you to unwind in the heart of the forest as you stroll through the beautiful lanes. If you set off in the early hours of the morning, you may catch sight of deer and roe deer.
At La Poitevinière, stop off to discover the Haut Fourneau chimney and the house where the ancestors of Sophie Trébuchet (Victor Hugo’s mother) lived.
