The Grande Prée trail takes you on a delightful escapade along meadow paths and the banks of the Loire.
11 kilometres.
The walk starts at the Boire Torse, a 17km-long branch of the Loire River surrounded by natural meadows. The route then leads to the natural port of Breluce, a former berthing point for Loire boats (gabares, futreaux, plates).
Continuing on, you’ll discover the vast sandbanks of Bois-Vert, home to terns and small gravel birds.
Finally, a recommended diversions takes you to the fishing village of La Meilleraie, offering panoramic views of the Loire and the abbey church of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil.
