Attractions A polychrome wooden piéta dating from 1637 adorns the church.
To believe or not to believe: In the 17th century, a local farmer, intrigued to see his oxen fattening when they weren’t eating, followed them into the meadows and discovered that they were content to lick a large stone located on the pasture.
Beneath this well-protected stone, he discovered the Piéta. A chapel was built on this spot and the Piéta was placed there. Since then, a pardon has been held on the 4th Sunday in September. Legend has it that young girls come here to pray because the Piéta promotes fertility.
