The Etang de la Provostière offers nature lovers the chance to observe a remarkable array of birdlife and flora throughout the year (ornithological observatory at the end of the pond).

Unusual: the mineral fountain, the ferruginous spring of Haut Rocher, is a local curiosity. Its crystal-clear water, at a temperature of around 12°C, is rich in magnesium but unfortunately undrinkable.
Worth seeing: at La Poitevinière, one of the last remaining blast furnaces in Loire-Atlantique (private) can be seen from the road. Sophie Trébuchet’s grandparents lived in this village.
