Discover the heritage of Ancenis-Saint-Géréon with the Mémenbulles application for a fun walk around 26 emblematic sites in the commune.
Each of the 26 sites has a panel with a photo of the place in the past and an anecdote relating to the site. Some of the panels have a QR Code that invites visitors to download the Mémembulles application.
Thanks to this application, the sites visited can be enriched. Postcards, anecdotes, portraits, etc.
Of the 26 sites, 12 also offer comic strips. The comic strips are also designed to be fun, making heritage accessible to everyone. Each illustrated episode tells its own unique story, immersing visitors in the history of each site.
This original creation was made possible thanks to the help of historians, the Association de Recherches sur la Région d’Ancenis (ARRA) and six cartoonists, including local resident Mélanie Abellan and a group of local residents.
It is open to all, and is partly adapted for the visually impaired, thanks to metal plates in relief that allow the old landscapes to be seen, as well as sound files for reading the comic strips.
The map is available from the Town Hall and the Pays d’Ancenis Tourism and Leisure Centre.
