The Gallery is made up of 3 modular areas: an exhibition room, a space for socialising and exchanging ideas, and an artist’s studio. It also has a documentary collection on the Loire and Loire art and literature.
Ingrandes is a border town that limits and separates, that links and brings together, and that’s the spirit of this gallery. Yes, we want to bring together artists from the Loire region, as well as foreign artists and designers in residence. Just as the other is our mirror, it is their eye that will enlighten us about who we are.
We also want to democratise art, take it out of the often confined and reserved spaces, create spaces for daydreams, exchanges and projects, arouse desire and encourage practice.
