A venue for exhibitions, artist residencies and cultural mediation.
The MAT – the Pays d’Ancenis Contemporary Art Centre – supports artists by organising residencies and producing artworks and exhibitions throughout the year across the Pays d’Ancenis region. Comprising volunteers and staff, the team at the MAT (Montrelais Art Territoire) is committed to making art accessible to as many people as possible through social events such as meetings with artists, guided tours, art workshops, talks and courses.
