Last windmill of Ancenis country, still active and dating from the 17th century.
Dating from the 17th century, the mill remained in operation until 1965. Purchased by the local council and restored to its original condition, it is the last mill in the Pays d’Ancenis still in operation. A slideshow traces its history.
The mill is open on the first Sunday of every month from November to June. In July and August: every Sunday from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
NOTE 2026: The mill will be closed on 5 July, 12 July and 16 August 2026.
Visits to the mill must be booked in advance by telephone.
Tours start every 30 minutes, from 2.30 pm until 5.30 pm.
