A small park in the Ancenis countryside, perfect for a quiet picnic at one of the shady tables. The lake offers anglers the chance to wait patiently for the fish in a bucolic setting.
Near Pannecé, not one but two ponds await you for a relaxing day of fishing, country picnics and walks along the water’s edge. We’d like to introduce you to a bucolic corner of the Ancenis region!
The green lung of Pannecé, the Etang des Troches is the ideal place for a nature outing. The body of water closest to the car park is a leisure and walking area. There’s a footpath, a pond open to fishing, large family picnic tables, a children’s play area including table tennis, a fitness area, sanitary facilities and a shelter for rainy weather.
Hidden behind lush green vegetation with a Canadian feel, a little-known corner of paradise is revealed next to the first lake. A peaceful, tranquil setting in the heart of nature! The ideal spot for a family picnic: a few tables are set out, but don’t hesitate to spread out your picnic blanket so you can get as close as possible to this natural area.
For the more adventurous, discover the Donneau hiking trail. Take this 11km loop starting from the lake and discover the charms of the Pannecé commune, with its varied landscapes and places steeped in history. Enjoy the fresh air and discover an old railway line that has been converted into a greenway, where you’ll find peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle! Along the way, you’ll pass pretty villages and the Garenne mill.
Fishing becomes a pretext for a privileged moment in nature. This calm, easy-to-reach environment will delight fishing enthusiasts. The Gaule pannecéenne association manages the aquatic population, including a wide variety of white fish, eels and large carp. A fishing pontoon for anglers with reduced mobility has been installed and fishing cards are available from the Vival (90 place de l’Eglise) in Pannecé.
