Take in the breathtaking views of the Loire from Ile Mouchet and its flora and fauna on a 3km walk!

A circuit of 3.1 km of signposted footpaths has been laid out across the island. It allows visitors to rediscover the hedged landscape of the Loire islands. Information panels on the site describe the island’s remarkable flora and fauna.

There are picnic tables and a play area for relaxing after or during your walk around this former island! Take advantage of the banks of the Loire to observe the birds that live there. Depending on the season, you may come across great tits, robins, black-headed gulls, great cormorants and grey herons. At sunset, the island offers a lovely view of the Loire and the Ancenis suspension bridge.
