Audrey Bouhier’s career path is unique: after years spent dancing, working behind the scenes in the performing arts, and then attending the École Boulle, her career has unfolded in a way that defies conventional expectations. Based in Oudon since 2023, Ateliers Bois Bouhier (ABB) designs and crafts decorative objects, pieces of furniture and wall decorations using marquetry.
Today, she creates pieces using straw marquetry, a rare and luminous craft. ‘Valsaya, souffle diaphane’ is the result of a fusion between the aesthetics of ballet and artistic craftsmanship. A unique piece to discover at the Pays de la Loire regional arts and crafts pavilion in Paris (Delorme Room, stand B35). Then in Oudon, at the Maison des métiers d’art.
