Originally from the Nantes area, Brasserie Olifant is now based in Ancenis, in the Fouquetière industrial estate. It produces craft and organic beers.
L’Olifant offers a range of nine beers, ranging from fruity and mild to full of character. These include La Tropic’Ale, a session IPA with exotic notes, which is particularly enjoyable in summer. All the beers are craft-brewed using organically farmed ingredients, with a focus on short supply chains for sourcing raw materials and consumables.
Currently, in the summer of 2026, following its relocation to the Pays d’Ancenis, the brewery is focusing on producing its beers. The premises are due to open to the public shortly, at which point they will offer direct sales.
