Now a ceramicist, she previously worked for many years as a sign language interpreter and, when her department closed, decided to change careers.
Working from hand-drawn sketches, Christina Potier creates functional pieces (cups, pots, teapots, bowls, vases, candleholders) with complex, understated yet structured forms.
Her pieces are unique and produced in small batches. She also works to order. The ceramicist has tried her hand at some modelling, creating figures.
She attends events.
