Initial education
Primary schools, collèges and lycées cover the whole of France to make life easier for you and your children. Mainly aimed at young people, it is designed to help them acquire the knowledge and skills they need to enter the world of work.

GRETA - CFA
Public establishments attached to the Ministry of Education
These organisations offer training for adults in a variety of fields. This is made possible by pooling the material and human resources of educational establishments such as collèges and lycées.
In the region, the Lycée Joubert Maillard is part of the GRETA-CFA network.
Training provided by consular chambers
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the Chamber of Agriculture all offer training courses.
- Chamber of Commerce and Industry: training courses are offered in a variety of fields, including management, business, IT, commercial design, logistics and entrepreneurship.
- Chambre de métiers et de l'artisanat (Chamber of Trades and Crafts) : courses cover a wide range of sectors, including food, hotels, restaurants, beauty, fashion, arts, graphics, health, nature, mechanics, construction, etc.
- Chamber of Agriculture: if you want to take over or set up a business, or if you want to improve or learn specific farming techniques, training courses are available.
- CNAM offers a wide range of training courses. The choice of diploma is as wide as the possible sectors of activity, with more than 2,400 courses of varying length taken each year.
- L'association pour la formation professionnelle des adultes (A.F.P.A.): a benchmark in continuing education. This institution provides training leading to qualifications, covering more than 300 professions and 700 courses at all levels of qualification and in all sectors.
- CNED: This institution offers distance learning courses for different types of audience: adults, students and schoolchildren.

The CEP: Would you like to take stock of your professional situation? The Conseil en évolution professionnelle (CEP) is a free, personalised support scheme that can meet your needs. The CEP enables you to draw up a career development plan (retraining, taking over or setting up a new business, etc.). It can be carried out by advisors belonging to different organisations. It can be carried out in the Pays d'Ancenis.
