Parcours Permanent d’Orientation – Ancenis-Saint-Géréon – L’île Mouchet

ANCENIS-SAINT-GEREON

Set off on the hunt for beacons on this orienteering circuit located on a former island on the banks of the Loire. It’s the perfect way to have fun as a group, with friends or with the family!

Set off on a 1? to 3-hour orienteering trail in the heart of nature (a Natura 2000 listed area) on a former island on the banks of the Loire south of Ancenis-Saint-Géréon. Whether you’re a keen sportsman or not, this is the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air and have some fun!

What’s involved? It’s simple: you define the itinerary of the route you want to propose to your group, the group sets off to find the markers using the enclosed map, then punches the boxes on the map with the markers as they pass. And why not offer a variation with a race to the score by imposing a time?

> Estimated average time: between 1h30 and 3h
> Parking: Charbonnière car park next to the Davrays stadium.
> Caution: route in a flood zone – check the level of the Loire before setting off.

There are many outdoor activities nearby: archery range, football pitch, swin golf and fitness trail, etc.
